Yep, I’m still on the low-carb eating today!!

I’ve been speaking with a few of my personal training clients who have read the previous posts about going low-carb, and they were keen to know what sort of meals could be eaten on this plan.

So here are a few examples:

* Smoked Salmon Salad – lettuce, tomato, cucumber, celery & smoked salmon

* Egg White Omelette – Egg whites, cheese, tomato, lean ham, pepper

* Beef Stir Fry – Lean beef strips, carrots, bean shoots, celery, beans

* Lettuce Wraps – Iceberg lettuce cups filled with tuna, diced tomato & cheese

The options really are endless. Be creative, google low carb recipes online. Just remember to stick to foods that are as natural as possible, and that make you feel good. If you eat a meal and feel bloated or sluggish afterwards, think about what in that meal might have caused it. You will find the healthier you eat, the more in tune with your body you will feel. Bloating is not normal-and you will soon realize which foods cause this for you, and you will be able to limit or completely eliminate them from your diet. Look at how food makes you feel after you’ve eaten it, take note and keep those foods that make you feel fresh, energized and alert. Love to know how you go!!
